Park Place Lexus Grapevine and the Southlake Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2015-16 recently hosted the Music Is Magic campaign for Band-Aide, an exclusive fundraising event to raise money to provide band instruments for future Dawson and Carroll Middle School band students.

“We were thrilled to host the bands and help in this worthy fundraising endeavor,” said Matt Woolsey, Park Place Lexus Grapevine general manager and Leadership Southlake member. “We enjoyed various ensemble numbers and the first-time musical collaboration of the two middle school bands. We were also treated to an amazing concert by the award winning Carroll High School Jazz Band.”

The luxury car dealership’s showroom was transformed into a concert hall for the evening. Guests noshed on delicious fare catered by il Calabrese Ristorante and
donated more than $6,700 through a silent auction and wine pull.

Sponsorships are featured online and will be included in the printed programs for the Carroll and Dawson Middle School Spring Concerts May 16 - 17. Sponsorship levels are $1,000 for “Symphony,” $500 for “Jazz,” and $100 for “Concert.” Donations of any amount may be made online at
