Three Carroll athletes qualified to participate in the Brooks PR Invitational. Now in its third year, Brooks has brought together the fastest high school athletes from around the country to compete at the Dempsey in Seattle, Wash.

Courtney Kriegshauser placed sixth of 12 athletes in the 1-Mile and a time of 4:50:94. Courtney has signed with Vanderbilt. She is the defending state champion in the 1600m, running 4:53 last year.

Trevor Gilley placed first with a time of 4:08:24 in the 1-Mile. Trevor is heading to the University of Mississippi in the fall. He has a PR of 4:09 in the 1600m. He placed sixth last year at the State Meet.

Joe Sansone finished ninth of 17 athletes competing in the 2-Mile with a 9:09:24. He is attending UNC in the fall. Joe has a 9:09 PR, which he ran at the Texas Relays last year.
