Summer registration recently opened at Epicenter for the Arts - a premiere performing arts studio in Southlake!

 

Voted Best Studio in Southlake from 2019-2024, Epicenter for the Arts trains leaders and legends in the arts starting from the inside out. Their weekly classes, one-day camps and week-long intensives are for the beginner to advanced dancer. Each camp and intensive is filled with fun and creativity that challenges the dancer to grow in their artistry. Specialty camps are available for pianists, singers and musical theater actors.

The performing arts studio is offering 50% off January's tuition for dancers who register in the month of December! This Gift of Dance deal is for children 2 years old - 18 years old, whether beginner or advanced.

Epicenter for the Arts is located in Southlake, the heart of the DFW metroplex. Nutcracker characters, Christmas trees, Charlie Brown, and a whole lot of red and green! It's Christmas time and Epicenter for the Arts is preparing in the most fun way with their 11th annual Christmas Showcase. There's plenty of opportunity to watch the festive dances by attending one of the seven shows on December 8th and 9th at Fort Worth Christian School. 

Friday night, their ballet students will present the beloved Nutcracker ballet at both shows. Saturday's first four shows will hold a variety of dance styles and ages including amazing Acro, fun Boys Hip Hop, advanced Contemporary pieces, and sweet tiny dancers performing for their first time. They will close Saturday out with their Charlie Brown show performed by their Triple Threat classes which includes singing, acting, and dancing. 

Bring a friend to enjoy these spectacular shows! Admission is free for Saturday shows. Email info@epiarts.com to reserve your free admission ticket that is required for Friday night's shows.

With holiday time around the corner, Epicenter for the Arts has decided to celebrate in a special way by hosting a Mother & Daughter Nutcracker Tea Party! The event will be held at the Epicenter on November 11th from 10:00-11:30am. They are inviting the community and their current families to join this special experience.

 

Dancers 3-7 years old will start the morning dancing away into the land of sweets with a Nutcracker-themed ballet class. Following the class, Moms and Daughters will enjoy tea and treats together while The Sugar Plum Fairy makes a special appearance. 

 

It wouldn't feel like Christmas time without a little Nutcracker in the mix! Join in on the fun and have your dancer welcome the Fall and Winter seasons in a special way.

As Summer comes to a close, Epicenter for the Arts is in full swing preparing for their 2023-24 season by hosting their family friendly Open House on Saturday, August 5th from 4-6pm. 

Epicenter offers a variety of dance styles for ages 2 years old and up. Training the beginner to advanced dancer alike in styles such as Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Silks. Specialty classes like Triple Threat, Boys Stunt & Hip Hop, and Broadway Jazz are offered for the older student. 

In addition to these unique and fun dance classes, Epicenter also houses a flourishing music program. Private one-on-one lessons in piano & voice happen Monday through Friday.

Epicenter's variety of classes and exceptional instructors set the studio apart in the industry. Their values of community, excellence, ministry, and creativity give them a unique presence in the DFW area. Their 15,000 square foot studio allows for six dance studios, 3 beautiful music rooms, and two party rental spaces that can be rented out to the DFW community. With two lobbies and observation windows that look into each studio, families can wait comfortably while their student is in class.
 
Open House is Saturday, August 5th from 4-6pm and is open to the community. You can register for classes and purchase any dress code needed while enjoying Black Rock coffee and Kona Ice. Meanwhile, kids can enjoy some bounce house fun, face painting, and participate in the game room and princess fun room.

New season, new classes, new friends! Epicenter for the Arts Bring-A-Friend Week is September 12th - 16th so mark your calendars.

Starting their 10th studio season off with a bang, Epicenter is opening select classes for students to invite their friends to attend class with them! A variety of morning and evening classes are eligible for Bring-A-Friend week. Students that attend will receive a gift in addition to free registration if they enroll within 24 hours of the class!

This is also a great week for new students to try classes! Even if you don't know anyone yet, this would be the week to jump in a class and make new friends.

 

2-4 year old classes

Summer is wrapping up and Epicenter for the Arts is in full swing preparing for its 10th year! Their 2022-23 season offers many different dance styles and music classes at their Southlake performing arts studio.

Some new additions to Epicenter's schedule include mini semesters of homeschool classes and adult classes. Silks and Boys Stunt & Hip Hop classes are back by popular demand for the season!

In addition to these unique and fun dance classes, Epicenter also houses a flourishing music program. Private one-on-one lessons in piano, voice, and guitar happen Monday through Friday.

The Nutcracker Winter Wonderland ballet dance workshop will be held for the 8-12 year olds focusing on character training and a live performance from the Sugar Plum Fairy! The workshop is $85 and will include a performance at the end that family members can attend. The workshop will be held on November 13th from 4-6 pm.
