About National Charity League, Inc., Southlake Chapter
National Charity League, Inc., Southlake Chapter currently has more than 350 mother and daughter members and provides hands-on volunteer service for 20 philanthropic organizations in the community. The Southlake Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Mimi Talcott and her daughter Angeline then a Carroll High School sophomore., to develop socially responsible community leaders and strengthen the mother-daughter relationship through community service. The traditional six-year core program also includes leadership development and cultural activities. In 1997, the Chapter gained Provisional status; on April 24, 1998, the Chapter was granted Chartered Chapter status.
