The sheer volume of real estate handled by Nan Ecklund-Luker lets clients know that she is serious about business! Since 1998 Nan has consistently been a Top Producer, and she attributes her success to a very simple philosophy. As Nan says, “I have always felt my career is a blessing. I remain aware that each client has very specific needs. I guess it comes down to treating people as I would like to be treated. Sometimes the keys to success are so simple and uncomplicated that they are overlooked. Just do your job well and earn a reputation for honesty, and the business will take care of itself.”
Apparently her modest philosophy is working. Referrals from past clients are a huge part of Nan’s business. “I would estimate that 85% of my business comes to me from previous transactions, and they have referred me to their friends and family members. This develops an accountability factor and a trust that I hold in high regard. I consider these referrals to be an honor, and I do my best to live up to that responsibility.” Nan is also known for having a close relationship with her clients. She says, “Sometimes the hardest part is letting go after the house is sold or the right home is located. My clients become family, so to speak. In fact, that is one of the real joys of this business. I love the opportunity to form such close ties with so many wonderful people!
Equally important is to have good working relationships with other agents in the community. Nan adds, “I believe it is part of our job to communicate and serve our client’s best interests. At the end of the transaction I want to see a happy buyer and seller leave the negotiating table and feel as if they have both been treated fairly. This can only happen if you have a good rapport with other agents. It is a priority and a definite plus that benefits clients.” Nan has been a licensed Texas Realtor since 1998.
Nan has lived in Texas since 1987 and specializes in selling homes in the Northeast Tarrant County area where she has resided since 1989. She would appear to have “done it all” by creating a highly successful career while remaining a devoted mom and recently welcomed her first grandson! Nan’s husband, Brian Luker, joined her in 2004 and brings his sales/marketing background and a strong work ethic to the business. “We strive to reach even higher levels of customer service delivery.” says Nan. One thing is certain: both Brian and Nan have a passion for work and a desire to serve the community. That is definitely a winning combination.
Nan is a graduate of the Institute for Luxury Homes and is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative. Nan adds, “Learning the business from some of the best realtors in the Metroplex was a tremendous opportunity that I took full advantage of in my early years, and I have never stopped learning! That helps me to be an experienced advocate for my clients. I am so happy to say that I have never closed a deal without feeling as if I have earned my clients respect and made new friends. Now that is success!”
