One of music’s biggest nights could be a source of community pride for Southlake residents.

Kari Jobe, associate worship pastor at Gateway Church, has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Jobe’s album, “Where I Find You,” is up for the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album Award at this year’s Grammys, alongside fellow artists Casting Crowns and TobyMac. 

The Dallas Baptist University graduate joined Southlake’s Gateway Church staff in 2006. Jobe released her Dove Award-winning, self-titled debut album in 2009, which included the tracks, “Revelation Song” and “I’m Singing.”

After gaining critical acclaim, the two-time Dove Award winner released “Where I Find You” on Jan. 24, 2012. The album was produced by Ed Cash and Matt Bronleewe and includes the single “We Are.”

“After singing about the importance of making time for intimate worship on my first album, I wanted to take the next step on Where I Find You,” Jobe said in her online biography. “These songs come from such an honest place of praising God for what He’s done—and what He’s continuing to do in our lives—because of His grace and goodness." 

Jobe expressed her excitement for the nomination on her Twitter account.

The 55^th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, Feb. 10 on CBS.
