Dog of the Week: Gold, Chihuahua

Gold has been at the Keller shelter for several weeks. When he first arrived, the shelter was sure his owner would come by soon to pick him up because he appeared well cared for, very affectionate and well behaved.

Sadly however, nobody reported him missing, and he has been waiting patiently, hoping that someone will take a look at his sweet face and fall in love.

Gold is a playful, friendly young Chihuahua (mix) who loves his daily walk and enjoys being with people. He is heartworm negative and current on his vaccinations.

Cat of the Week: Ditch

Ditch was found - you guessed it - in a ditch! He was brought to the shelter and has now been there for several weeks. He is hoping that his luck will change soon because he really needs to get out and stretch his legs.

He wishes he could speak and tell the shelter visitors what a great cat he is, but he's a little shy when he meets people for the first time. Hopefully, someone will take a chance on him soon. He's been waiting for a long time.

Ditch is current on his vaccinations and is ready to come home with a lucky owner today! For more information, contact shelter staff at 817-743-4516 or at animalservices@cityofkeller.com
