Propelled by six rising Freshmen Dragon Lacrosse players, the U15 Iron Horse select team made it to the Championship game of the 2013 Summer Exposure Annual Tournament in Annapolis, Maryland. This tournament pulls together top teams from all over the Northeast.

Dragon players include goalie Luke Millican, Defensemen George Elmquist and Michael Tsay, Midfielder Carson Green, and attackmen AJ Van den Dyssel and Casey Wasserman. The 23-person Iron Horse team showed tremendous poise in their route to the championship game. They won an overtime game 5-4 vs TriState in the Semifinal game and scored with just five seconds remaining in their quarterfinal game. The championship was claimed by the Annapolis Hawks, the tournament host team.

The Iron Horse team will next play in the Terps Young Guns Shootout in College Park, Maryland over the July 19th weekend.

Southlake Dragon Varsity lacrosse players were also in the news as senior midfielder Connor Harryman accepted a scholarship to play for Bellarmine University, a private Division 1 school based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Southlake Carroll Dragon lacrosse player Zach Kissick earned All-Star midfielder honors at the Baltimore Summer Kickoff tournament. Kissick was also recognized for his performance by Inside Lacrosse magazine as one of the standouts of the All-Star games, and only one other sophomore made the list of twelve.
