Are you looking for a way to meet some new people, attend engaging presentations and serve to improve our local communities? Have you done community service with a graduating senior and want to stay involved? Southlake Kiwanis is a service organization that works to improve our local communities by enhancing the lives of children in a wide variety of ways.
A part of Kiwanis International, our local group offers fellowship, service opportunities, personal and business development while having fun.
We realize that today's time demands are many. While we'd like everyone to have 100% attendance and participation, we know that it's just not possible for everyone. However, rather than turn people away, require make-up meetings, or access fines, we gratefully accept the time, talents and efforts that you can share to help us improve the lives of the children we ultimately serve.
Southlake Kiwanis is having a membership drive and welcomes interested parties to attend one of our upcoming meetings. This Wednesday morning (4/9) we'll be joined by Patrick Mordente, the community outreach director for the George W Bush Presidential Library.
