Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., listen to tunes by the Keller High School Marching Band as they kick off their 10th annual “March-A-Thon” Saturday, Sept. 15 in front of Keller Town Hall.  Donations will be accepted to assist the band’s fundraising efforts.

Then, at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., watch, learn and sample at this month’s KFM Chef’s Table Program cooking demonstration hosted by Chef Cale Sikes of Sugar & Frosting and Southern Breeze Market/Café.  Chef Cale will show us how to create a butternut squash soup with a rosemary infused olive oil drizzle served with artisan bread croutons.  Many of the ingredients will be available for purchase at the market so you can recreate at home.

Between and after cooking demonstrations, enjoy the jazz, blues, Latin, swing and folk infused music of Victor Andrada.

Keller Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon May to October around the Keller Town Hall Fountain.  For more information about the market, vendors and sponsors, and for directions, visit www.kellerfarmersmarket.com.
