Tale of Two Cities: Tiff’s Treats Plans Unique Double Opening in Southlake and Lewisville Sept. 23

Company that pioneered warm cookie delivery celebrating two new DFW stores with double opening to benefit Cook Children’s

SOUTHLAKE and LEWISVILLE, Texas  – Is there anything better than a fresh-baked dessert, straight from the oven? (The answer: Yes – TWO fresh-baked desserts, straight from the oven!) On Sept. 23, Tiff’s Treats will celebrate two new store openings – one in Southlake and one in Lewisville – on the very same day. Each grand opening will benefit Cook Children’s, and Tiff’s devotees who visit both have a chance to win a special prize by participating in the “Southville Challenge.”

In addition to bringing warm dessert delivery to these two DFW-area communities, Tiff’s is also glad to bring some happiness by supporting a great cause with delicious cookies. Sales of cookies at each new store location for both special grand opening flash sale events will benefit the Cook Children’s Health Foundation, helping to improve the health of children in our region by supporting the hospital’s Creative Artist in Residence Programme (CARPE).  Attendees can purchase a dozen Tiff’s Treats cookies for only $5/dozen on Sept. 23 at each location, with proceeds (up to $10,000 in total) benefiting the children who receive care at Cook Children’s.

“Cookies can bring such a smile to someone’s face,” said Leon Chen,  co-founder of Tiff’s Treats.  “It is our honor to couple that with being able to help children and families in need. There is nothing more important to Tiff and me than the good health and happiness of our kids, and we wish the same for all of our friends and neighbors.”

Devotees of Tiff’s Treats grand opening events – always a morning packed with fun, surprises, gifts and cookies – will notice something new: Head to both Southlake and Lewisville on Sept. 23, and you can be entered to win in a special contest called the “Southville Challenge.” Participants will be given a wristband at each event. Collecting a wristband from both events will earn participants a tote bag with a $25 gift card inside. Posting a photo on social media wearing both wristbands enters participants in a drawing to win the grand prize, a brand new iPad.

Tiff’s Treats in Southlake will be located at 1221 E State Hwy 114, #150.

Tiff’s Treats in Lewisville will be located at 755 E State Hwy 121, Suite B-150.

As the delicious aroma of fresh-from-the-oven cookies and brownies fills the air at the new stores, guests can enjoy festivities and chances to win prizes. Get there early: the first 40 people in line (18 or older) at either location at the grand opening Sept. 23 will win a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All others in line by 9 a.m. will receive a $10 gift card. Guests who purchase a box of cookies at the grand opening can also enter in a drawing to win free Tiff’s Treats cookies for a year! Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped stuffed bear to the event to be donated to Cook Children’s PrayerBear program will also receive a $5 Tiff's Treats gift card.

On Sept. 23, guests can celebrate the stores’ openings and help raise funds for Cook Children’s by purchasing one-dozen boxes filled with one of Tiff’s Treats most irresistible flavors: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin, for just $5 a box (limit six dozen boxes per person).  Tiff’s Treats’ warm cookie concept normally requires a 30-minute notice for pick-up orders or one hour for delivery -- however, for the grand opening fundraiser, no advance order is required, and customers can simply walk in to the new store and purchase hot cookies from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Guests must be in line by 1p.m. to purchase cookies at this special price.

Devoted fans know that in addition to a host of cookie flavors, Tiff’s can also provide warm brownies, cool milk (and chocolate milk!) and even extra-special trimmings like balloons, special boxes and more. Ordering is easy for same-day delivery either through the company’s website at www.cookiedelivery.com.
