US Lacrosse Academic All American
Michael Tsay, a Senior defender for the Dragons, was recognized as one of just 16 Texas players to be named as a US Lacrosse Academic All American. Tsay graduated Summa Cum Laude and will attend Rice University next year.
US Lacrosse All American
Senior defender George Elmquist ended his Dragon career with several awards. Topping the list was being just one of 16 Texas players to be named as US Lacrosse All Americans. Elmquist, who also graduated Summa Cum Laude, will attend and play for Fairfield University next year. Elmquist was also recognized by the North District as one of their 17 players to be named All State.
All State and District
Elmquist was not alone in earning North District honors. Joining him on the All State team is Senior midfielder Casey Wasserman. Wasserman, a graduate from Grapevine Faith High School, will attend and play for Towson University next year.
Fellow Defender Nick Donfris nabbed North District Honorable Mention recognition for his senior campaign. He will attend the University of Arizona next year.
All Seniors earn All Academic recognition
All of the Dragon Seniors were honored at their year-end banquet for achieving All Academic team recognition.
This recognition went to all players who had maintained a 3.5 gpa or a 90 or better average.

In total, 26 players from the Varsity, Division 2, and JV Teams had the academic achievement to earn this distinction.
