It's a skill that could help you save someone's life.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, is a valuable skill to possess, especially since heart disease is the number one killer in the United States. In a life or death situation, knowing CPR could help you keep someone alive until medical help arrives. That's why the Southlake Department of Public Safety offers free CPR classes on the third Saturday of each month.

The next CPR class is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, January 21st from 8:00 a.m. to noon. You must sign up for the class, which is held at the DPS West Fire Station. For more information or to sign up for a class please call Renni Burt at 817-748-8349 or email at
