DALLAS Spencer Turner, FACHE, has been named chief executive officer at Medical City North Hills, effective Sept. 2.

Turner brings more than 20 years of senior healthcare leadership to the role. Since May 2022, he has served as chief development officer of Medical City Dallas, where he was responsible for development and operational activities. Among his accomplishments, his leadership helped launch a successful liver transplant program, further positioning the hospital as the destination of choice and market leader in transplantation. Before joining Medical City Dallas, Turner spent 18 years as a hospital CEO in North Texas.

"Spencer has a depth of healthcare knowledge and strategic leadership with a focus on physician and staff relationship building to enhance compassionate, high-quality care,” says Allen Harrison, president of Medical City Healthcare. “I am confident he will lead Medical City North Hills to the next level of healthcare excellence.”

Turner earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, a Bachelor of Health Care Administration from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, a Certificate in Accounting and Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
