Just when you thought you were through celebrating..

Happy New Year to You!!! CHINESE New Year, that is.

All Ladies in the Northeast Tarrant area are invited to join us for our January luncheon.

PLEASE REGISTER TO ATTEND by or before Jan 13th.

We are excited to bring you a special program to start off the year and celebrate the Chinese New Year. Please join us as we travel to China and hear of the experiences of a lone woman business entrepreneur in a strange and trying environment. Nancy Weinstein is a fellow member, a renowned designer, and a speaker. She will share with us her in-depth experiences, and life in China and the challenges she faced ( sometimes frightening).

We will celebrate Chinese New Year with a festive lunch and décor. (feel free to dress for the occasion). We will also continue to sell raffle tickets for our $600 “ Shop Till You Drop in Style” Package that includes a red purse, $100 gift card to Town Square, Pearl earrings, drinks and appetizer at Truluck's and a Head to Toe spa package at Corinthian Spa. Raffle Tickets are $15 each or 3 for $40. We will award this prize at the end of the luncheon.

Southlake Newcomers Club is a non-profit Social Club for women in Southlake and surrounding cities (ie. Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville, NRH and more). You don't have to be new to the area, but it is a great way for someone new to meet new friends who share common interests. We have many groups for almost any interests, from foodie and shopping adventures, book clubs, various games, hiking and more.

We support local charities and raise funds for scholarships to support local students. This month, we are collecting items to restock the Roanoke Food Pantry.

Year-round the ROANOKE FOOD PANTRY does so much to support families in need in our community. Southlake Newcomers Club would like to help the Food Pantry restock their shelves after the recent busy Christmas season. Typically, the Roanoke Food Pantry provides 75 families a month with food but during the Christmas season, they help more than twice that average number of families!  Let’s help them restock their shelves by supporting them as our SNC charity for January.

Here is a list of items needed by the Food Pantry:

Stove Top Stuffing, Boxed macaroni and cheese, Ramen Noodles, Spaghetti and Canned Spaghetti Sauce, Instant potatoes, Hamburger Helper, Jelly, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Toilet paper, Deodorant, Size 4 and 5 baby diapers.  Please bring your donations to the January Luncheon. Cash or Check donations are always appreciated!

Come celebrate with us!
