“My dream would just be to pursue the career I love.”

Ben Singel, Porter in the upcoming Carroll Senior High production of Tarzan, has big plans for a lifetime in theatre, “be it acting, directing, stage management or script writing.” But he has a challenge in Tarzan.  “This production is unique in that it is so physical, whether it’s a gorilla…or an Englishman.” For the character of Jane’s father, Ben has had to adjust his energy to match the slower, more limited movement of the elderly. “Figuring out how an old person walks has proven as challenging as being a gorilla.”  For tickets www.dragondrama.net.  Nov 6-9.
