A great family activity during spring break! Come out and do light gardening alongside the Tarrant County Master Gardeners. We'll be tending many of our garden areas, including our bluebonnet patch - what a fun way to learn how our beloved Texas blue beauties grow!

The Master Gardeners are truly masters at what they do and are happy to answer your gardening questions. They have each taken a minimum of 50 hours of instruction with topics covering lawn care; ornamental trees and shrubs; insect, disease and weed management; soils and plant nutrition; vegetable gardening; home fruit production; garden flowers; water conservation.

Gardening activities are ideal for home school groups, Scout troops, high school clubs and service organizations. Families and individuals are also encouraged to participate. Youth under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent, teacher, Scout leader or other guardian.

Dress for gardening - wear closed-toe shoes and attire that can get a little dirty or muddy.
