$130K Raised Artfully!

The 23rd Art in the Square weekend started wet but ended with blue sunny skies. The Southlake Women’s Club applauds presenting sponsor, Methodist Southlake Medical Center, artists, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, City of Southlake, Southlake Town Square and art patrons for their continuing support of the award-winning event. 27 nonprofits benefit from the $130K raised to assist women, children and families in Northeast Tarrant County

Accolades to the artists for the array of incredible artwork. Barry Goldsmith was selected by the community as the People’s Choice Winner for pencil graphite creatives.  Congratulations to artists recognized for exceptional artwork in their chosen medium. Awards of Distinction were awarded to Nick Leonoff, Jeremy Serna, David Palmer, Nicholas Barnes, Deanna Goldsmith and the Jurors Award went to Steve Dragan, Andrew Lawson, Gabby Hanley Tanya Lesley and Regina Lyubovnaya.

The Youth Art tent showcased extremely talented high school artists. Winners recognized for their exceptional  creatives were 1st place, Andy Huang, 2nd place, Lauren Graves, 3rd place, Hayden Eppinette and honorable mention went to Ella Beeman, Marilyn Cleveland. Eva Milby, Savannah Moore, Abby Grace Sewell, and Ella Bushnell.

The 2023 Art in the Square is a wrap. Moving on to the 2024 event to be held April 26-28, 2024. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss the community event of the year!
