The 2019 Art in the Square People’s Choice Winner is Erika Bushee!
Erika Bushee of Flower Mound is the 2019 People’s Choice Winner for 20th Art in the Square to be held at Southlake Town Square on April 26-28.
At the 2002 festival she first showcased her artwork. She uses nature as an inspiration to fill the canvas. On her multidimensional creations there maybe slate, river rock, any unusual rock or driftwood that has caught her eye. She spends many hours trimming and sanding materials as she works to create a design that she has sketched. Erika’s artwork captures nature in a unique, calming way.
Erika was chosen the winner by a public vote from a gallery of 12 featured artists that have displayed their amazing artwork for 15 of the 20 years of Art in the Square. The featured artists can be found on Main Street in the new venue “Featured Artists Alley”. Erika will be in booth M24. Plan to stroll through this venue to see artists that have helped Art in the Square earn a nationally ranking as juried fine arts festival.
