The Southlake Women’s Club Foundation together with the Southlake Arts Council and Apex Arts League are hosting “The Strokes of Art in the Square” event to officially kick off a season of fabulous art in Southlake. This free event is open to the public and will be held at Southlake Town Hall on Sunday, Feb. 17th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Artwork from the best of the Art in the Square artists from all over the country will be on display during the event. These artists were selected as award winners because of their quality and excellence, and they are a stellar representation of what’s to come at the 2013 festival.

The club will be launching a 2013 online artist gallery soon, and you’ll be able to get a closer look at all of the selected artists, but this event is a great way to get a sneak peek into the incredible caliber of the upcoming festival weekend. The Southlake Women’s Club will announce the 2013 Art in the Square beneficiaries during this event.

There will also be live musical performances and scrumptious food from Southlake’s own Wildwood Grill. Additional information can be found at www.artinthesquare.com.
